april showers bring may storms

well as I'm sure everyone is aware this year has been flipping INSANE with storms and rain and damage. and we happen to be sandwiched in-between some of the worst.

heres some pictures from our latest storm while we stood outside and waited for the worst to hit… thanking god every moment it didn’t.

ive got some videos of the sirens and the heavy rain and the strong winds but its not letting me upload those. so one day ill have those.

but it was scary the dogs were antsy and petey was crying.

poor petey was bouncing around and crying because of the sirens.

so everyone knows about the flood going on this year. and here it was pretty big…for most people. cole said it was well above where he has ever seen the water. I can only imagine what its like in other places.

I pray that clarksville has good help with sandbagging this year. poor fort massac is under water. good thing the wedding has been moved back. otherwise we would be swimming!

thankfully the water is receding. poor dogs were stranded on top of their dog houses in a flooded back yard and nowhere to go. horses were stranded away from their barns and people were driving boats to get to their cars on the dry streets.
